Some of my earliest memories as a child include me singing along the radio in the car and performing sing-along movies for my parents. I became serious about performing in high school where I fell in love with show choir.
I went on to receive my BA in Theatre with minors in Music and Dance from the University of Nebraska Kearney. I am now an Omaha-based theatre artist with community, collegiate, and professional experience performing, scenic painting, teaching, and choreographing.
Growing up without much access to theatre and live performance in general has led me on a mission to make theatre as accessible as possible. Through teaching, I am able to create a space for students to explore and learn about performance early on.
My favorite classes include students with varying degrees of experience and bringing them all together to create something they are proud of. It is an honor and a privilege to introduce students to the world of theatre.
