Screenwriting: The First 10 Pages - With Jason Levering - 2025
Your first 10 pages are critical for the success of your screenplay; if you don't hook a producer within the first 10 pages, they are not likely to read the rest of your script. In this 4-week course, writers will learn the base fundamentals of creating a screenplay, including formatting and structure, plotting out a story arc, and developing characters that people care about. Participants will be able to share material from their scripts with the class to receive feedback and fine tune their craft. This in-person course is for the beginner, but seasoned writers are welcome to take it as a refresher. The end result will be the first 10 pages of a feature or short script.
This class will lead to a bridge class designed to help students with developing a feature length screenplay.

Description: The Actor’s Sandbox is a fun place in which to practice using new tools which build and hone acting skills. This course provides a “soft space” for actors to experiment in and become more comfortable with the uncomfortable: taking risks!
NOTE: This course also acts as a prerequisite class for the Acting Master Class taught by Nicole.
