Musical Improv Masterclass - Matt Geiler - Fall 2025
In this high-energy masterclass, 6–14 improvisers and comedic performers will dive into the world of fully improvised musical theatre. Through ensemble-building games, musical structures, and scene work, students will strengthen their comedic instincts and develop the skills needed to create spontaneous songs and scenes on the spot. The class culminates in a live, totally improvised musical comedy performance—full of bold choices, big laughs, and unforgettable moments. Description: The Actor’s Sandbox is a fun place in which to practice using new tools which build and hone acting skills. This course provides a “soft space” for actors to experiment in and become more comfortable with the uncomfortable: taking risks!
NOTE: This course also acts as a prerequisite class for the Acting Master Class taught by Nicole.
